Mo te tūranga | About the Role:

As Financial Crime Operations (FCO) Training and Capability Manager, you will lead a team of capability consultants to deliver the FCO training and capability framework. You will bring your previous experience in learning & development, training and workshop facilitation, people management, as well as advanced analytical and problem-solving skills. You will be the first point of contact for training and capability queries across FCO along with:

  • Working with Learning Services to develop an FCO training and capability framework that is innovative, best practice and translates into compliant outcomes and business needs.
  • Overseeing the design and development of in-person facilitated sessions and self-learning solutions that enable business impact and behaviour change at all levels of FCO.
  • Ensuring the development and maintenance of FCO training materials to meet changing trends, behaviour and best practice.
  • Collaborating with key business partners to ensure successful deployment of learning interventions.

  • A comprehensive understanding of learning & development framework management.
  • People management experience and the ability to run an effective team.
  • Knowledge of Financial Crime regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills that can be deployed to quickly identify issues and proactively drive solutions.
  • Ability to build relationships with internal stakeholders across the FCO space and wider ASB team.
  • An understanding of the financial service industry generally, ideally an understanding of FCO's strategy and business drivers.
