Responsibilities:

• Sorting post/packages into relevant areas for couriers
• Empty cages of freight into depot cages
• Push cages and stage them into courier's bays
• Use RF gun for scanning consignments
• Utilize and understand technology for day-to-day tasks
• Handle manual lifting of 20kg consignments using safe techniques
• Perform two-person lifts for oversized or heavy items
• Clean and maintain the depot throughout the day
• Scan and process freight
• Work within the damaged goods processing area and repack items
• Adhere to safety protocols by wearing safety boots and Hi-vis vest
• Report to work at 0430

What do you need?

• Fit for work and able to lift 25kg and upwards
• Fork lift OSH licence
• A good team player
• flexible, RELIABLE, great initiative and work well in a safe manner
• Strong health and safety focus to keep yourself and others safe on sites
• Reliability including reliable transport to get yourself to and from work daily
• Keenness to get stuck in and get the job done
• Positive attitude as you will encounter the public and contractors on a daily basis

In addition to these you will be required to undertake a pre employment drug and alcohol screen and criminal history check as well as be able to provide references on request and require the legal right to work in New Zealand.
