Job Description
Our client who has distribution centres in South Auckland is a currently looking for Devanners and Pick Packers who can support their permanent staff in covering shifts, operating forklifts, and devanning containers.
Duties
- Unloading containers of stock and placing them onto pallets before strapping and wrapping them.
- Scanning and labelling products with RF scanners.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the packing area.
- Sort and organize incoming freight by category and destination.
- Manually picking orders and preparing them for dispatch.
- Limited computer work inputting data when required.
Requirements
- Must pass all pre-employment checks including MOJ checks and drug tests.
- Pick packing experience required.
- Hard working and punctual.
- Physically fit and strong, able to lift and carry 25kg’s consistently throughout the day.
- Great attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and reliable.
- Needs to have reliable transportation.
- Great attitude and work ethic.
- Keeping within the requirements for Health and safety.
- Computer literate.
