Job Description
This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth running of daily collection activities, with responsibilities ranging from efficient scheduling and vehicle utilisation to compliance with customer deadlines. You will be working closely with onsite employees, facilitating loading and unloading, sequencing routes for optimal efficiency, and leveraging in-cab technology for job tracking and vehicle monitoring. Additionally, you will assist with office duties and provide support and cover for the Operations Manager.
What you'll do:
As a Logistics Coordinator, your role will be integral to maintaining the team's daily efficiency. Your day-to-day tasks will involve coordinating collection activities, ensuring that schedules are adhered to and vehicles are utilised efficiently.
You'll work closely with onsite employees, assisting in loading and unloading operations, while also sequencing routes for maximum efficiency. Leveraging in-cab technology, you'll track jobs and monitor vehicles, ensuring all operations run smoothly. In addition to these responsibilities, you'll also assist with office duties and provide necessary support to the Operations Manager.
