About the role

We are seeking two Dining & Food Attendants to work at our fabulous Gulf Rise Village, based in Red Beach (North Auckland). You will support our Residents and our Caregiving Team in setting up and maintaining multiple kitchenettes within the Care Home ready for food service. Following each food service, you will ensure these areas are restocked and cleaned to the appropriate standards. You will be part of a supportive team and have an opportunity to learn basic kitchen tasks and really make a difference to the dining experience of our residents.

Two positions are available as follows:

4 days per week and 3 days per week (24 and 18 hours) 7am - 1:30pm

Some of the great things you will deliver:

  • Set up and maintain residents' dining areas for food service
  • Ensure cleanliness of dining and kitchenette areas
  • Restocking supplies in kitchenette areas
  • Ensuring residents have fresh water and clean glasses in their rooms daily
  • Helping to make the dining experience a pleasurable one for our Residents


About you?

We are looking for an outgoing person from the hospitality sector, who has a passion for aged care services. You will have great communication skills and ability to use your initiative with:

  • Experience in the food service environment
  • Knowledge of food hygiene or equivalent Health and Safety Act
  • Patience and willingness to deliver an outstanding service to our residents
  • Energetic reliable and friendly customer service approach
