About the role | He kōrero whakamārama mō tēnei tūranga

We are seeking a Registered Physiotherapist for a fixed-term position within our Auckland-based Work Solutions team, serving a diverse range of clients and contracts. This community-focused role offers the opportunity to engage with individuals from various backgrounds, making it ideal for those who excel in people-oriented environments and enjoy a dynamic work setting.

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with clients, their employers, and the broader Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) to deliver optimal care and support clients in achieving their vocational goals. The role primarily involves working in community and workplace settings, with the option to provide telehealth services when appropriate. Additionally, there is an opportunity to deliver hands-on physiotherapy services on-site for businesses with whom we have established partnerships.

Your skills and experience will be valuable in assisting clients to return to their optimal functioning and work following injury or illness.

This role will be covering the Auckland region.

This is a fixed term maternity cover – with potential to move permanent for the right candidate

What you will bring | Ngā tohungatanga mō tēnei tūranga

• 2+ years’ experience as a NZ Registered Physiotherapist, post graduate qualification in Vocational Rehab is an advantage, but not essential.
• Previous community experience in a similar role
• Understanding of, and commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
• Current NZ Registration with NZOT or NZPT.
• Passion to continue to learn and grow.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• An awareness of Health Legislation and the NZ health funding systems.
• Ability to travel and work autonomously.
