He angitūtanga / The opportunity:

We are looking for exceptional Catering Assistants to work at University of Canterbury, Tupuanuku Hall. This is a Casual Position. Hours of work are "as and when" required basis during the school term.

Ko o kawenga / Your responsibilities:

In this position you will be responsible for;

• Delivering an upbeat and professional customer service, providing a warm, friendly and welcoming ambiance for our customers.
• Basic food preparation and presentation, stock control, Dishwashing, and assisting in general kitchen duties.
• In addition, assisting and maintaining general cleaning and food hygiene duties.

He kōrero mōu / About you:

If you're our ideal candidate;

• You will be hard working, with a friendly, outgoing personality and a 'can do' attitude.
• Ideally you will have at least 1 years' experience in the food industry and hold a food safety certificate (Unit Standard 167), or be happy to train for one.
• Along with your superior customer service skills, you will need to have the ability to work confidently both individually and with a team
• Most importantly you will demonstrate a passion for great food, customer service and quality!
