Do you have experience in delivering high quality, technical services for a range of performing arts events?
We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and creative Theatre Technician to join our Performing Arts team in a fixed term role for up to six months. This role is based at the recently refurbished Sir Howard Morrison Performing Arts Centre (SHMC) in Rotorua. This role will support the delivery of all technical services and event needs in SHMC.
This role is pivotal to the success of the performing arts in Rotorua and the wider region, and is an exciting opportunity to be a part of history with the only 1,000 seat theatre in the Bay of Plenty! The successful candidate will be involved in delivering all areas within the Technical Department, with preference given to someone who is a team player and has a specialism in sound. Attitude is everything, we are a tight-knit positive team that promotes a safe, respectful, and encouraging work environment. Team players enquire within!
