The Role
Depending on your level of experience your role will include:
- Cadastral Surveying.
- Construction Surveying.
- Manage and work together with the team to deliver subdivisions, multi-unit and comprehensive developments ranging from two to 500 lots.
- Supervise and mentor the next generation of surveying professional.
- Stakeholder engagement with colleagues, clients, contractors and council staff.
- Subdivision and Land Use Consenting.
- Client and project management.
- Ensure accurate Cadastral Survey Datasets and other survey deliverables are completed on time.
- Personal responsibility for your own projects.
- Stakeholder engagement with colleagues, clients, contractors and council staff
- Curate subdivision design and civil engineering design.
- Cadastral survey, topographic survey, land transfer, set outs.
- Prepare reports/drawings.
- Complete LINZ/Council searches
- Site and building survey monitoring.
Requirements
- You should possess 1+ years’ New Zealand surveying experience.
- Surveying degree or diploma.
- Competent with Landonline and 12D software.
- Able to work independently and organise work programmes.
- Proficient with field work techniques and quality assurance processes for GPS and Total Station.
- Have an understanding of the RMA, planning processes and other relevant legislation.
- Ability to work independently.
- Enthusiasm and great attitude.
- Good experience and working knowledge of modern survey equipment.
