The Role

Depending on your level of experience your role will include:

  • Cadastral Surveying.
  • Construction Surveying.
  • Manage and work together with the team to deliver subdivisions, multi-unit and comprehensive developments ranging from two to 500 lots.
  • Supervise and mentor the next generation of surveying professional.
  • Stakeholder engagement with colleagues, clients, contractors and council staff.
  • Subdivision and Land Use Consenting.
  • Client and project management.
  • Ensure accurate Cadastral Survey Datasets and other survey deliverables are completed on time.
  • Personal responsibility for your own projects.
  • Stakeholder engagement with colleagues, clients, contractors and council staff
  • Curate subdivision design and civil engineering design.
  • Cadastral survey, topographic survey, land transfer, set outs.
  • Prepare reports/drawings.
  • Complete LINZ/Council searches
  • Site and building survey monitoring.


Requirements

  • You should possess 1+ years’ New Zealand surveying experience.
  • Surveying degree or diploma.
  • Competent with Landonline and 12D software.
  • Able to work independently and organise work programmes.
  • Proficient with field work techniques and quality assurance processes for GPS and Total Station.
  • Have an understanding of the RMA, planning processes and other relevant legislation.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Enthusiasm and great attitude.
  • Good experience and working knowledge of modern survey equipment.
