We’re seeking a Volunteer Project Coordinator to join our team. Your project management skills will be pivotal in ensuring the success of our initiatives and driving meaningful impact.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage volunteer teams to deliver projects on time and within scope.
• Use project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Jira) to plan, execute, and track progress.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and expectations.
• Identify and resolve challenges, applying problem-solving skills to keep projects on track.
• Promote collaboration and foster a positive, productive team environment.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Leadership & Team Management
• Proven experience in leading teams, motivating volunteers, and driving project success.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to engage diverse groups effectively.

Project Management Expertise:

• Proficient in project management tools (MS Project, Asana, Jira); Agile/Scrum experience is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver under pressure.

Cultural Knowledge:

• Deep understanding of New Zealand’s cultural history and heritage.
• Resided in New Zealand for over 4 years with fluency in English.

Technical Proficiency:

• Strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Personal Attributes:

• Analytical, organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable to changing priorities.
