The position:

• Part time - 7.30am to 4pm, 3 days per week. Preferably a Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday with the flexibility to work full time when needed
• Preparing and cooking vegetarian meals for approximately 110 tamariki each day
• Ability to cater for dietary/allergy requirements is essential for this role
• Responsible for ordering, and working within a budget
• NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa is a pre-requisite
• Kindercare police vet all potential employees

• Competent in preparing, cooking and serving food that follows our recipes
• Shares our passion for nourishing children with delicious meals, incorporating herbs and vegetables they’ve lovingly grown themselves!
• Committed to the highest standards of cleanliness, and adhering to our policies and procedures
• A cheerful multi-tasker, with excellent time-management skills
• Willing to take care of some cleaning and laundry tasks
