SAP Functional Specialist

Our client is an industry leader with a significant presence across Australasia. They are a leading marketer and distributor of well-known brands and are publicly listed.

We have two newly created roles for experienced SAP Functional Specialists to join their SAP Delivery Team. The role requires senior functional skills across the SAP ECC SD, MM, and FICO modules. The specialist will have a deep understanding of standard SAP ERP modules, their native functionality, and capabilities, and how to convert business requirements into functional specifications.

As the team is split between NZ and Australia, we can consider applicants who reside in either Sydney or Auckland.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver innovative SAP-centric business solutions through design, build, test, and systems integration.
• Support and enhance the SAP ECC solution by leveraging subject matter expertise and functional experience.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners to address business needs and optimize SAP functionality.

Requirements:

• Advanced level SAP ECC SD, MM, and FICO cross-modular functional and configuration knowledge and experience.
• Strong internal and external stakeholder management skills.
• Collaborative mindset to work with end users and the SAP Delivery Team.
• Strong problem-solving skills to drive resolution of defects and issues.
• Experience with SDLC and ITSD tools such as 4Me and Azure DevOps.
• Leadership and compliance experience, particularly in guiding and supporting junior functional consultants.
• Ability to research SAP documentation for solutions and review enhancement packs for beneficial functionality.
