We are seeking a motivated and reliable 1st/2nd Year Carpenter Apprentice to join our clients growing team in Christchurch. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills, gain hands-on experience, and work on a variety of projects alongside our skilled carpenters.

About the Role:
As a Carpenter Apprentice, you will be responsible for assisting with a wide range of carpentry tasks. You will receive on-the-job training, and mentorship to help you progress in your trade and complete your apprenticeship.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the construction, installation, and maintenance of wooden structures, frameworks, and fixtures.
Work with timber, plywood, and other materials to build components for residential and commercial projects.
Follow instructions and work safely while maintaining high-quality standards.
Use and maintain basic carpentry tools (which you will need to bring).
Learn and develop your carpentry skills under the guidance of experienced professionals.

Key Requirements:

A genuine interest in carpentry and construction.
1st or 2nd-year apprenticeship experience.
Basic set of carpentry tools.
Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team.
Physically fit and able to perform tasks that require manual labour.
Reliable and punctual.
Own transport.
