Job Description
Working in a growing commercial litigation team this is a great opportunity for lawyer with litigation experience to join a highly regarded national law firm. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside a market-leading Partner in a dynamic and supportive environment.
What you'll do:
As an Associate in Dispute Resolution & Litigation, your role will be multifaceted. You will conduct comprehensive legal analysis to support case strategies and meet client objectives. Your excellent drafting skills will be utilised in creating various legal documents. You will also have the opportunity to work on District and High Court litigation matters, adjudications, arbitrations, mediations, and complex trials. Furthermore, you will provide valuable support and mentoring to junior lawyers within the team.
- Conduct legal analysis to support case strategy and client objectives
- Draft legal documents, including correspondence, pleadings, affidavits, and settlement agreements
- Work on and appear in District and High Court litigation matters, adjudications, arbitrations, mediations, and complex trials
- Provide support and mentoring to junior lawyers within the litigation team
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Associate position brings at least 5 years of commercial litigation experience. Your strong legal analysis skills will be crucial in supporting case strategies and achieving client objectives. Your excellent drafting skills will be put to use in creating various legal documents. Experience in District and High Court litigation matters is essential. Additionally, your ability to mentor junior lawyers will contribute significantly to the growth of the team.
