Job Description
Are you a hands-on worker who enjoys being outdoors and keeping things organized? Tradestaff is seeking a Yards Person for one of our valued clients.

About the Role:As a Yards Person, you’ll be responsible for maintaining an organized and efficient yard environment. From moving materials to assisting with general yard duties, this is a key role for someone who thrives in a physical, fast-paced setting.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Loading and unloading materials and equipment.
- Organizing and maintaining the yard to ensure efficiency and safety.
- Assisting with stock control and inventory checks.
- Operating forklifts and other machinery (if licensed).
- Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed at all times.
- Providing excellent customer service when interacting with staff and clients.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in a similar role or a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks.
- Forklift license (advantageous but not essential).
- Reliable and punctual with a great attitude.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- A commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Full NZ driver’s license (preferred).
