Nockie’s Palette, a quaint boutique winery nestled in Queenstown, Central Otago, is on the lookout for a charismatic individual with a passion for wine, exceptional sales skills, and a knack for leading teams to deliver top-notch customer experiences.

Ideally, you bring a minimum of 2 years' experience in overseeing wine-tasting rooms, restaurants, bars, or similar hospitality venues. As the key figure at our cellar door, you'll spearhead daily operations, set a stellar example through professional tastings, and guide your team to success, embodying the welcoming spirit of Nockie’s Palette.

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Passion for wine
• Hospitality management and/or Cellar Door management experience
• Previous team management experience
• Passion for creating outstanding customer experiences
• Sales oriented
• Excellent communication skills and a ‘can do’ attitude
• Ability to work cooperatively and positively, leading people in a team environment
• Flexible – able to work at weekends and holidays.
• Current Duty Managers Certificate
• Sufficient computer skills (Microsoft Office, Stock Management system, POS system).

Desirable:

• WSET Level 2 or higher
