Job Description

  • Work independently at customer sites and in the workshop.
  • Provide field service and preventative maintenance on customer equipment.
  • Engage directly with customers to provide exceptional service.


Job Overview:
As a Field Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing field service, troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on customers air compressor equipment. You will engage with customers directly, ensuring their satisfaction and upholding the highest standards of service. This role requires a hands-on approach to solving technical problems and delivering effective solutions on-site and in the workshop.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interact with customers to provide timely service and resolve technical issues.
  • Maintain high-quality workmanship on all tasks.
  • Accurately document all work through reports and timesheets.
  • Follow all site safety protocols and complete required inductions.
  • Report all accidents or near misses, no matter how minor.
  • Work independently on-site and in the workshop as required.
  • Maintain a professional personal appearance in line with company standards.
  • Perform any other duties as requested by the Branch Manager or Service Manager.


Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a service-related role is required.
  • Knowledge in air compressor equipment maintenance and repair advantageous but not required.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
  • A strong focus on safety and adherence to regulations.
  • Current NZ Class 1 driver's license and clean driving record.
  • A professional appearance and demeanor.
