Job Description
Are you a highly organised, detail-oriented professional with experience in procurement and/or accounts coordination? Bayleys Canterbury is looking for a motivated person to join our team in the role of Procurement Support / Accounts Coordinator.
About the Role:
In this dual-role position, you will play a key part in supporting Bayleys agents by ensuring access to the best marketing tools at competitive rates. You will also provide essential financial support, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in marketing accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
Procurement Support:
- Review supplier activity and identify consolidation opportunities.
- Develop a supplier evaluation framework based on key deliverables such as pricing and quality.
- Maintain the Bayleys Canterbury Media Guide and liaise with marketing teams to ensure smooth deployment of campaigns.
- Communicate quality and compliance issues to suppliers.
- Update pricing and products in CRM system.
Accounts Coordination:
- Process daily banking and bank reconciliations.
- Ensure timely and accurate invoicing for marketing campaigns.
- Maintain and update marketing database, including pricing and agent details.
- Reconcile marketing budgets and process necessary journal entries.
- Assist agents with marketing budgets and provide regular reports.
What We’re Looking For:
- 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role with an accounts background.
- Understanding of accounting principles and financial reconciliation.
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and negotiation skills.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong proofreading abilities.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Proactive, client-focused approach with strong multitasking skills.
- Professional attitude and a team player mindset.
