- We're offering a competitive salary starting from $125,926 to $139,459, depending on experience
Mō te tūnga | About the role
The purpose of the System Relationship Lead position is to connect with other agencies that support tamariki e.g., Ministry of Education, Police and Te Whatu Ora, to ensure Oranga Tamariki can access relevant data and information, particularly where it will support operational areas. The System Relationship Lead is responsible for:
- Collaborating with other agencies in the system to identify and transfer relevant and accurate data related to Oranga Tamariki operations
- Ensure data obtained from other agencies is accessible for the relevant Oranga Tamariki stakeholders
- Support operational areas to understand what the data and insights mean for their areas of responsibility
This position will enable the frontline to deliver Social Work Services by ensuring social workers have a comprehensive view of the system-wide support being provided to the tamariki and rangatahi they support, enabling them to make more informed care decisions.
Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu | What you will bring
Key requirements of the role include:
- A relevant tertiary qualification in the field of Business, Management, Information Technology or similar is highly desirable
- Experienced in project management methodology
- Demonstrated understanding of the strategic context of work programmes and strategic issues that could face the work programme
- Proven experience managing and building internal and external relationships
- Knowledge of public sector data regulations, policy requirements, and reporting and monitoring principles
- Ability to assess data related project plans and data migration strategies to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements
- Ability to work with various data solutions, data architecture, and data formats
- Understanding and appreciation of cross-cultural practices in particular; knowledge of tikanga Māori, and Pacific peoples' culture
