The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Security Officer - Shredder Operations. In this full-time role, you’ll play a critical part in ensuring the secure handling and processing of sensitive materials while maintaining safety and efficiency in our shredding operations.

This is a Permanent, Full-time position - 40 hours guaranteed per week. Two positions available for Morning shift, 06:00 – 14:30 or Afternoon shift: 14:00 - 22:30. Located in Wellington.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

The role’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Process bins promptly to meet bin exchange standard.
  • Safely store and handle materials until destruction is completed.
  • Maintain a clean, professional workspace and adhere to company guidelines.
  • Accurately document daily processing details for administrative purposes.
  • Ensure equipment is functional and properly maintained.
  • Safely stack processed materials in designated areas.
  • Report issues, incidents, or performance impacts to the Manager promptly.
  • Consistently meet internal customer expectations and deliver quality results.
