Crate Washer
Join a leading provider of reusable packing solutions that support New Zealand's growers in their mission for sustainable, environmentally friendly practices. We're seeking a reliable and hard-working individual to assist in operating a large crate sanitising machine.
The Role:
You will be working with a small team to run a large sanitation machine. This includes feeding crates into the machine and removing them once cleaned.
Key Responsibilities:
- Unstack crates from pallets and prepare them for sanitising.
- Inspect crates for defects and remove branding or pricing stickers as required.
- Remove clean crates from the conveyor, stacking them onto pallets.
- Perform general cleaning tasks to maintain a tidy workspace.
Days & Hours:
6:00am - 2.30pm, Monday to Friday. Some flexibility is essential as hours may be longer in summer and shorter in winter.
Skills and Attributes:
- Dependable, physically fit, and capable of performing repetitive tasks.
- Prior experience in a production or fast-paced environment is essential.
- Ability to pass a Ministry of Justice (MOJ).
- Subject to ACC check.
- Must maintain a drug-free work environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to contribute to a team-focused environment.
