We are urgently seeking an experienced Class 5 Truck Driver to join our team in West Christchurch. This role involves driving a 9-axle truck and trailer to cart aggregates between two quarries. You will be working 10 hours per day, Monday to Friday, starting on 07/01/2025. Initially, this will be a casual position for an intended 3-month period, with potential for permanent employment for the right person, though this is not guaranteed.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate a 9-axle truck and trailer to cart aggregates between two quarries.
Ensure safe and efficient driving, adhering to all traffic and safety regulations.
Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any maintenance issues.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

A full Class 5 driver’s licence.
Previous experience driving Class 5 tippers in the civil sector.
A clean Drug and Alcohol test and Ministry of Justice (MOJ) check, required prior to starting.
A strong commitment to safety and punctuality.
