About the Role:

Reporting to the Production Manager as a key member of the team, this role involves a variety of duties relating to the loading and delivering of aluminium joinery products. Assistance with some general joinery manufacturing tasks will also be required when deliveries are complete.

Other tasks will include:

• Checking details on delivery schedule
• Carrying out pre and post delivery procedures to ensure that the load is safe, accurate and complete.
• Using a variety of basic computer programmes as part of our daily procedures (Training will be provided!)
• Ensuring delivery vehicle/s are maintained to a high standard.
• Using forklift to load and unload a-frames of joinery.

About You

We use a Ute and long trailers for our delivery method. Therefore, the driver must be experienced and comfortable in using large trailers in confined spaces and tight driveways. The candidate will also need to be comfortable in lifting heavy and awkward items. The role also involves communicating with builders and internal staff members so strong communication skills are also important!

To be considered for the role, the candidate must possess most, if not all of the following criteria:

• Delivery/Truck driving experience is essential
• Forklift experience is essential (We will renew your licence if required)
• Have a current full class 1 driver's license
• Ability to work Saturdays as and when required
• Experience in the manufacturing industry is not necessary but would be highly regarded
