We have a great opportunity available for an Automotive Technician to join our friendly and supportive team.

You'll enjoy working on a huge variety of work from Classics to Hot Rods to new vehicles under warranty. We have a purpose built workshop including:

• A dedicated Warrant of Fitness lane with Hoffernan brake rollers warrant of fitness hoist to ensure an efficient warrant of fitness process
• An Engine Room to dismantle and rebuild engines and gearbox in a dust free environment
• A Service Bay equipped with the latest technology and oil distribution equipment
• An Engineering Bay with Lathe, Mig, Tig and Gas equipment
• Dedicated Wheel Alignment Bay

The successful candidate will have proven industry experience, strong technical and analytical skills as well as a thorough knowledge of the inner workings of motor vehicles and their various components and accessories in addition to being well organized, professional and dependable

Key skills that are required for this role:

• 3 years minimum of automotive experience + WOF Authority
• Must have current AVI
• Capable of all mechanical repairs
• Experience with European vehicles is ideal but not essential
• Clutches, Cambelts, Engine rebuilds, Brake components, Suspension components etc
• Excellent time management / productivity
• Excellent Diagnostic skill and problem solving
• Honest, reliable and trustworthy
• Have a good sense of humour
• Excellent attention to detail
• NZ Resident or Citizen
• Must have your own tools.

This is a full time permanent position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (with possible alternate Saturday mornings by arrangement). An immediate start is available.
