Join Our Team as a Foreperson in the Waste Management Team!

We're looking for an experienced Foreperson to lead our Waste team! In this role, you'll be:

  • Leading and motivating a great team.
  • Finding ways to improve how we work.
  • Keeping everyone safe and following safety rules.
  • Based at our Henderson yard/head office, this full-time role offers a Monday to Friday schedule with negotiable hours. You'll also have access to a work vehicle, laptop, mobile phone, and full PPE.


About You:

We care more about how well you fit with the team than just your skills. We're looking for someone who can work well with others, build good relationships quickly, and is willing to step up and help out, especially when covering for others.

What You Need:

  • A full NZ Class 4 + HIAB driver's license and the ability to drive a manual vehicle.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a leadership role in a business.
  • A strong track record of leading teams and managing people well.
  • The ability to build good relationships with both internal and external people.
  • Good skills in managing projects, time, planning, and staying organized.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to lead training and presentations.
  • Great people skills, and the ability to talk openly and respectfully with everyone.
