Mō te Tūranga | About the Role
As a Journey Lead Consultant in the Strategy & Architecture team, you will coordinate and support journey and domain-related demand and resource requirements from discovery into execution.

You will manage demand and capacity, reduce key person dependencies, and ensure work is on track. You will work closely with stakeholders, manage work allocations, oversee discovery activities, and facilitate the transition of work.

Additionally, you will identify and manage interdependencies and technical risks, and maintain oversight of work progress, providing support and escalation as needed.

This is a permanent role open to candidates located in the major cities of New Zealand.

To be successful, you should have excellent communication and facilitation skills, a continuous improvement mindset, and the following experience:

  • Practical hands-on experience as Iteration Manager (or Scrum Master)
  • Active in the Agile community with experience working with Partners and Suppliers
  • Workforce planning, budgeting and forecasting
  • Thorough understanding of enterprise software development processes and lifecycle; ability to adjust and apply this knowledge in a dynamic empirical environment using agile development
  • Outstanding organisational, communication, interpersonal, relationship building skills conducive to team development; able to work well in a cross-functional, matrix
  • Proven track record of building motivated, collaborative, and productive development teams with the ability to quickly establish credibility and rapport with technical team members
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines while coordinating several teams at a time and responding to changing business and technical conditions
  • Certification relevant to position such as Scrum Master or Project Manager
