Piling Rig Operator- Temp to perm Role

About the opportunity:
We are looking for experienced Piling Rig Operator/Dogmen for a large on-going project in Auckland. This is a temp assignment that will initially go for 3 months but is likely to extend.

You will work within our client's established rigging team to be involved in:

• Operating Piling rigs for driving or drilling piles across projects
• Conduct daily machine safety checks
• Ensure precise placement of piles according to project specifications
• Direct workers engagement in operating machines to drive piling and sheets
• Adhere to health and safety legislation
• Maintain accurate logs and reports
• Read and Interpret gauges, meters and instruments

About the Company:
Our Client is highly experienced and technical piling teams who have been in the piling industry for 20 years and have worked with Tier 1 main contractors to achieve major projects across New Zealand.

Skills + Experience:

• To apply you will need:
• Certificate for Rigging & Crane Operation (NZQA Unit Standards 3789, 3801, 3795, 3794)
• EWP Certified
• 2+ years experience as an operator, Crawler Crane experience in piling, civil earthworks or mining
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Ability to adapt to change within a fast-paced environment
• Strong Leadership and time management skills
• Ability to solve problems quickly and communicate with construction workers on site
• A full NZ Driver's Licence and a clean criminal record
• Must pass drug test
• Must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand
• It would also be preferable for you to have:
• Tower Crane driving experience
• Mobile Crane driving experience
• Fork hoist licence
