We are seeking a skilled and experienced Paving Machine Operator to join our team for a long-term project at Auckland Airport. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in operating a Wirtgen TCM 95i texture curing machine, as well as a strong background in asphalt paving operations. This is a crucial role for the success of the project, requiring attention to detail, efficiency, and safety compliance in a high-traffic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain the Wirtgen TCM 95i texture curing machine to ensure optimal surface preparation and curing of asphalt.
• Assist with the setup and calibration of the machine for various project requirements.
• Work closely with the paving crew to coordinate the timing of texture curing with paving operations.
• Report any issues or mechanical failures promptly and assist with troubleshooting and repairs.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Proven experience in operating the Wirtgen TCM 95i texture curing machine or similar equipment.
• Previous experience in asphalt paving and surface preparation is essential.
• Strong commitment to safety and compliance with all health and safety regulations.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours as required, including weekends if needed.
