Your Role
As a Product Marketing Manager for Offer Development at Lumenalta, you will support our broad set of digital offerings, including product/app development, cloud infrastructure, data engineering & AI. You will be a thought partner at the intersection of multiple service lines, collaborating with leadership to set the agenda for critical solutions. This role requires a hands-on approach in building and distributing go-to-market materials across Lumenalta’s sales and marketing channels.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Offer Strategy & Plan: In collaboration with topic leadership, you will jointly drive the yearly planning exercise for data engineering and AI offerings, articulating client pain points (via VoC exercises), tracking how they evolve, and showing how our offerings meet these needs while differentiating us from competitors.
- Offer/Chapter Governance: Support leadership in establishing and maintaining the right governance and cadence. You will prepare and animate regular meetings and calls related to governance. Management of Go-To-Market: Set the strategy for the commercial plan, including defining and implementing commercial activities to develop the practice (e.g., IP development, sector mobilization). Serve as the go-to lead to monitor the business (e.g., lead flow, proposal pipeline, sold cases), leading analysis, leadership reporting, and collaborating with relevant product analysts and managing directors as necessary.
- Prioritization, Backlog Management, and Offer Development: Work with experts and the knowledge team to align teams on priorities based on the strategic plan. You will manage the backlog of activities to support the development and evolution of offerings and ensure consistency across content initiatives.
- Offer Marketing and Communication: Collaborate with leadership and marketing teams to develop the offer narrative and communication plan. You will contribute to its execution by providing input for publications, newsletters, and both internal and external events.
- Community Building and Affiliation: Lead internal communication and affiliation activities for the topic.
- People: Work with operations teams to manage and facilitate the execution of the upskilling and people plan, including supporting recruiting efforts, career development, and talent pipeline building.
What You Bring
To thrive in this role, you’ll bring a combination of technical expertise, leadership experience, and a passion for AI and data-driven innovation. We’re looking for a professional who has:
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in marketing products or service offerings in data engineering, machine learning, AI, or similar topics. Preference for someone with 1-3 years in a leadership role working with teams of engineers and data scientists.
Technical Proficiency:
- Knowledge of machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and data engineering tools (e.g., Apache Spark, Kafka).
- Understanding of how data architectures, ETL processes, and data warehousing solutions contribute to business success.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, Scala, or R, and understanding their role in AI success.
- Understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra) and their contribution to data engineering and AI programs.
Leadership & Communication:
- Proven track record of leading teams and mentoring engineers. Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving & Innovation: Excellent problem-solving abilities with a demonstrated capacity to develop innovative solutions to challenging technical problems.
- Client-Facing Experience: Demonstrated ability to engage with clients, understand their business needs, and translate them into effective AI and data engineering solutions.
