The role
This is a rare chance to join a high-performing team and play a pivotal role in growing the Waikato and Bay of Plenty regions. You’ll be handed a portfolio of existing clients to nurture and expand, while also identifying new business opportunities to drive growth.
Key responsibilities
- Increase market presence across the Central North Island.
- Engage regularly with clients to drive growth and maximize sales potential.
- Implement targeted sales strategies to boost revenue and capture market opportunities.
- Develop tailored strategies for managing key accounts to build client loyalty.
- Foster long-term relationships with clients, addressing concerns and resolving issues promptly.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from quoting to negotiating and closing deals.
- Keep clients informed about new products, price updates, and supply chain developments.
- Research and identify new business prospects aligned with growth targets.
- Conduct market research to stay ahead of industry trends and competitors.
About you
- You’re a hunter and go getter with a proven track record in sales, business development, or account management.
- Strong background in the building or steel industry.
- Exceptional ability to recognise growth opportunities and successfully close deals.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Self-driven with a proactive mindset and a passion for achieving targets.
