About the Role

As a Mid-Level Class 2 Delivery Driver at Lucy's, you'll be the vital link between our warehouse and our clients, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of event hire equipment. You'll be responsible for the safe and secure transportation of a variety of goods, contributing directly to the success of countless events. This role requires a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.

The Role Will Involve

• Safely operating a Class 2 delivery vehicle 🚛
• Loading and unloading event hire equipment, ensuring careful handling to prevent damage 📦
• Completing delivery paperwork accurately and efficiently 📝
• Maintaining accurate delivery logs and records
• Navigating efficiently and effectively using GPS and maps 🗺️
• Adhering to all traffic laws and company safety regulations 🚦
• Providing excellent customer service to clients on-site 🤝
• Performing daily vehicle checks and reporting any maintenance needs 🔧
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle

Skills, Qualifications, and Experience

• Current and valid Class 2 driver's license
• Proven experience as a Class 2 delivery driver (mid-level experience required)
• Excellent knowledge of Auckland roads and routes
• Strong customer service skills and a professional demeanor
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items safely and efficiently 💪
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• A clean driving record and commitment to safety
