Job Description

  • Full time, permanent position in Central Auckland
  • Minimum 30 hours per week, maximum 60 hours per week
  • $27.00 - $31.61 per hour + great staff benefits

The Opportunity

These are Chef de Partie roles for which you will ideally have 2-3 years experience in a high volume venue and/or a trades qualification. You will have a fantastic attitude, flexibility to work evenings and weekends. You will ideally have experience in Japanese, Italian, Spanish, and/or Asian Fusion cuisine. In these roles you will be responsible for:

  • Preparing and cooking food to the highest standards in a high volume venue setting
  • Portion control
  • Storage of food and adhering to food safety practices
  • Presentation of dishes to the highest standards
  • Working with and assisting in the training of kitchen hands
  • Following instructions of senior chefs (Senior CDPs, Sous Chefs, Head Chef and Executive Chef)
