We are on the lookout for an outstanding Technician seeking a fixed-term full-time role in Wellington! This 6-month role is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop or kickstart their career, as on-the-job training is provided.

In this role, you will be expected to perform field testing to a high level of accuracy.

The work will be hands-on and physical, therefore requiring a reasonable degree of physical capability and, at times, may involve working in adverse environmental conditions. The nature of the work may require early starts, late finishes, and occasional overtime.

About You:

You will ideally have completed at least Level 2 NCEA and have 0-2 years' work experience.

We are looking for someone who brings their personality to the role, prides themselves on providing flawless customer service, and strives for just a little bit more.

You will require excellent communication skills and the flexibility to adapt quickly to change. You should be able to work autonomously with minimal supervision, but also collaborate with team members when required. You will have the passion to deliver work to high standards, as well as meticulous attention to detail and quality.

You should also be:

• Able to focus on strategic priorities of the business while delivering 'business as usual' work;
• Able to to work with your team to achieve project and company objectives;
• Passionate about people;
• Naturally looking for solutions outside of the square;
• Able to make calculated, rapid decisions;
• Able to prioritise workload and convey to others when there may be urgency required to fulfill customer expectation;
• Practical, with good tool skills and a 'Kiwi No 8 wire' mentality;
• A great communicator;
• Able to lift items weighing 20kg+;
• Computer literate - especially Microsoft Excel and Word.
