Senior Kubernetes Developer

Your role, your journey | Te Huarahi Whakatipu

  • Play a key role in shaping and evolving our Kubernetes journey, help establish best practices, improve our deployment platform, and drive ongoing enhancements as we mature
  • Take ownership and lead the development of software solutions, as well as mentor and guide junior developers
  • Design, build, and maintain applications, libraries, and APIs that drive innovation
  • Work alongside a talented team of developers, designers, and data experts to craft high-quality solutions that makes a real impact
  • Collaborate with the product team, architects and other engineering teams to develop secure, scalable, high-performing software
  • Thrive in an agile environment, where learning, sharing, and challenging the status quo are part of everyday life


What you'll bring | Ō Pūkenga

  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes beyond deployment, such as configuring clusters, managing Helm charts, and building deployment pipelines.
  • A solid understanding of CI/CD tools and passionate about DevOps practices and enhancing developer experience.
  • Experience with building applications using C# .Net Core with a focus on scalability and performance.
  • Experience improving observability in Kubernetes clusters using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Fluent Bit, with exposure to Rancher for cluster management and integration is a plus.
  • A natural ability to collaborate and communicate with a wide range of people.
  • A passion for technology and a curiosity to keep learning and improving, both yourself as well as inspiring those around you.
