Data Engineer

We're on the hunt for a Data Engineer to join us and we're keen to connect with a range of experience from a recent grad through to an expert!
Working as part of the wider Data team, you'll design and build data pipelines and processes that ingest, transform, and curate data. You'll be responsible for end-to-end implementation of innovative data solutions on our modern data stack, ensuring they meet business needs while aligning with our data governance and architectural standards. Collaborating across Technology and the wider business, you'll help unlock the power of data for 2degrees.

- Expertise in Kafka and data integration technologies such as Airflow, AWS Glue, and strong Python and SQL skills.
- Ability to design and implement scalable, high-quality data pipelines and ETL processes.
- A collaborative mindset, building trusted relationships across teams to influence positive outcomes.
- A passion for innovation and continuous learning, always seeking to push boundaries.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts.
- Expertise in Kafka and data integration technologies such as Airflow, AWS Glue, and strong Python and SQL skills is preferred.
