About the Role
This role involves processing telephone and email orders, addressing daily inquiries, problem-solving, and packing small orders. You will be the primary contact for customers and will work closely with vendors and suppliers to manage order follow-ups, stock inventory, and resolve issues. This position offers the opportunity to take ownership and drive improvements independently. Ideal candidates are proactive problem-solvers who enhance processes to improve the customer experience.
Main Responsibilities:
- Customer Interaction & Order Processing: Serve as the primary contact, handle phone calls, emails, and process orders.
- Supplier & Order Management: Coordinate with suppliers, monitor order fulfillment, and manage stock levels.
- Financial Tasks: Process payments, handle financial reconciliation, and manage refunds/exchanges.
- Website & Shop Improvement: Suggest and implement improvements, update product listings, and support marketing initiatives.
- Event Participation: Attend fairs, events, and work offsite as needed.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Relevant administration and/or Customer Service experience
- Experience or familiarity with e-Commerce or retail sales; Shopify experience is desirable
- Outstanding customer service skills with fantastic phone manner
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with Content Management Systems
- Patience and a high level of empathy when assisting customers with ongoing care needs
- Proactive and organized approach and willingness to take ownership of assigned responsibilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
