The Company
Is a well-established civil, structural and fire engineering consultancy that has been serving the New Zealand land development market for over 50 years. They have three offices, two in Auckland and one in Queenstown.

Their civil team works on a wide range of projects around Auckland, Queenstown, Northland and Coromandel including:

• Subdivisions (from infill terrace housing to large, multi-year greenfield developments)
• Retirement villages
• Commercial and industrial developments
• Residential canal developments

The Role
A Senior/Principal Engineer role that will be a combination of managing your own projects, liaising with clients and leading a small team of engineers and drafters.

The role will generally involve:

• Client liaison
• End to end project delivery
• Financial management
• Team management
• Civil engineering design of earthworks, roading, and three waters infrastructure
• Construction management and contract supervision
• Preparation of engineering reports and assessments

About You

• Similar experience in a Senior/Principal role
• Ability to manage your own projects and lead a small team.
• Great written and spoken English skills
• Confident meeting and talking to clients and contractors
• Civil 3D design experience or similar
• Ideally CPEng or working towards
• A BE Civil qualification or equivalent.
• Knowledge of and experience in civil engineering design (3 waters, earthworks, roading/pavements).
• The right to live and work in NZ, and be currently based in NZ (overseas applicants will not be considered).
