Mō te tūranga | About the Role
As the Associate Portfolio Manager / Analyst, you will be contributing to the success of BTNZ and its customers by supporting the Portfolio Manager - Diversified Funds with the analysis, portfolio management and implementation of BT's diversified funds and wholesale funds.

As the Associate Portfolio Manager / Analyst you will assist with portfolio implementation, including managing cashflows, implementing derivative and foreign currency hedging program, while ensuring portfolios remains within investment ranges. You will also assist with performance and risk analysis for diversified and sector funds, prepare reports and commentaries for team meetings, stakeholders and clients. There will be opportunities to support the team with research activities and contribute to the implementation of policies.

This role requires someone who has a growth mindset, strong stakeholder management and communication skills who can develop and maintain business relationships with external counterparties.

Nā tāu rourou | What will you bring?

Tertiary qualification in either finance, economics or a related field.
CFA (completed, commenced) / other post grad.
Minimum of 2-5 years’ experience in the finance industry or fund management.
Understanding of financial markets, dealing, settlements.
Experience in portfolio management or investment analysis & research.
