Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Programme Manager to join a leading not-for-profit organisation, KidsCan, dedicated to providing essential resources to children in need across New Zealand. This role is pivotal in overseeing the delivery and management of the Early Childhood (ECE) Programme, designed to support children under five years of age in need.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with various teams to ensure the effective execution of the programme, building strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
What you'll do:
As Programme Manager, you will be responsible for leading the Early Childhood Education (ECE) Programme, ensuring that children's needs are at the forefront of all decision-making. You will guarantee high-quality programme execution through effective relationship management. You will manage customer relationships throughout their journey, striving for excellence in service delivery.
- Lead the ECE Programme, ensuring that children's needs are at the forefront of all decision-making.
- Guarantee high-quality programme execution and effective relationship management.
- Collaborate with suppliers and evaluate and approve recipes before they are made available for selection.
- Manage customer relationships throughout the entire journey.
- Utilise your subject expertise during the development and enhancement of additional projects and programmes.
- Lead the implementation of new projects and programmes.
- Continuously assess and enhance all aspects of the ECE Programme.
- Oversee the ECE Programme application and selection process.
- Identify, monitor, and communicate emerging risks.
What you bring:
You will have project management experience and a background in leadership and/or management roles, fostering an environment of collaboration and growth. Experience in research and evaluation roles is also desirable. You should be able to navigate uncertainty, change, and competing priorities with resilience and strategic foresight.
- Proven experience in 3-4 years project management
- Qualifications or experience in leadership and/or management roles
- Qualifications or experience in research and evaluation roles
- Cultural competency in Māori and Pasifika communities
- Ability to navigate uncertainty, change, and competing priorities with resilience and strategic foresight.
- Excellent relationship-building abilities with both internal and external stakeholders.
