Job Description

What You'll Be Doing | Mō te Tūranga

We’re looking for a Customer Experience (CX) Designer to join our team. In this role, you'll play a key part in improving customer interactions across the entire journey. Reporting to the CX Product Manager, you'll work to optimise every touchpoint, ensuring that every interaction our Members and customers have with the organisation is seamless and positive.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Create design artifacts like customer journey maps, user flows, mock-ups, and prototypes to define the ideal customer experience.
  • Identify improvement opportunities using human-centred design methods and develop key deliverables such as Service Blueprints.
  • Present findings and recommendations through clear design artifacts and storytelling to align stakeholders.
  • Support the experience design process from ideation to final delivery.
  • Collaborate with teams like UX Designers and Process Analysts to integrate customer experience principles into product and service delivery.


About You | Mōu

  • You have 3+ years of experience in human-centred design, supporting projects with cross-functional teams. You’re skilled in creating design artifacts like customer journey maps, service blueprints, and behavioural maps.
  • You have a customer-focused mindset and an ability to adapt to different needs.
  • You’re skilled at applying design thinking principles in complex environments.
  • You can manage multiple projects, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • You’re a team player, collaborative, and have strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
