Job Description
We are a family business of 29+ years and are looking for the next key member of our kitchen team.
Looking for a Chef to join our team! Previous experience with pizza/pasta preferred, but full training will be provided
Must have 3 years experience or equivalent qualifications and current NZ work visa.
Pay negotiable between $25 - $35 Hour depending on qualifications and experience
Duties of a Chef
- Preparation and presentation of Etrusco's food consistently and efficiently.
- Good problem solving and docket management skills.
- Maintain a clean, organized and manageable section.
- Ordering food supplies.
- Managing kitchen staff including accuracy in timesheets.
- Knowledge and understanding of Food Control Plan (FCP).
- Have a keen eye for detail.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a tight knit team.
- Knife skills
- Cleaning as per cleaning schedule and general cleaning
- Quality control and stock rotation.
- Safe operation and cleaning of kitchen equipment.
Open 7 days a week from 5:30pm on so no split shifts.
Hours available are full time. 30 Hours minimum up to 55 Hours on rare busy weeks.
