Job Description
Student Job Search is seeking an expert to evaluate proposals for a new data environment. Our aim is to consolidate data from various sources into a unified platform that enables advanced analytics, self-service reporting, and AI integration. Specific deliverables include assessing the feasibility, scalability, and cost-effectiveness of proposals using Google Cloud, AWS, or custom APIs and providing a clear recommendation.
This project will directly enhance our ability to provide data-driven services to students and employers, improving outcomes and ensuring efficiency. We are also currently unable to provide all of our obligatory reporting to our funder.
The ideal advisor will have experience in data architecture, cloud platforms (e.g., Google Cloud, AWS), and reporting tools such as Power BI or Looker. The role requires approximately 10-15 hours over 2-3 weeks, including document review and discussions with our team. Your input will help us make an informed, impactful decision.
Location: On Site hours are preferable to include other work members, however online is also acceptable.
Proposed Steps:
Proposal evaluation: 1 week
Request for more information from service providers: 1 week
Decide and engage - preferably in January somewhere.
