The Company
- My client is a rapidly growing, successful engineering surveying company who have a reputation for excellence and reliability throughout Auckland.
- Due to continued growth, they are looking for their next Construction or Engineering Surveyor to join their friendly team. They have market leading survey equipment, all the cool tools, great rates of pay and a flexible, respectable, adult working culture.
- They provide a diverse range of professional, expert surveying services across construction surveying (high-rise buildings, structural, mechanical, piping, concrete framing engineering) civil engineering surveying (infrastructure projects, bulk earthworks, roads, highways, drainage) and some land surveying.
- They are small, tight knit and friendly team with lots of experience and a very strong future workload.
- They have projects across Auckland.
The Role
- Carry out field surveying including engineering, construction, topographical, cadastral, land transfer, Scanning, height to boundary, building set outs and other surveys as directed.
- Independently perform setting out surveys, topographical surveys, monitoring and “as-builts”.
- Collaborate with the Survey team.
- There is also the opportunity to become involved in scanning if desired.
- Operate and use survey equipment.
- Conduct on-field survey and record measurements.
- Draft survey notes and detailed drawings
- Process survey data to produce DWG files for CAD Technicians
Requirements
- 1+ years construction and/or engineering surveying experience on site.
- Experience undertaking survey field work.
- Knowledge of CAD and 12d software which would be desirable but not essential.
- Hard working, attention to detail and great attitude.
- Effective time management skills.
- Full driver’s licence.
