Our vision and values form the cornerstone of our operations, with a team dedicated to fostering happiness and possibilities for both employees and customers alike. Shared values drive our culture, emphasising friendliness, professionalism, openness, honesty, and trust in all interactions. Encouraging each team member to lead within their sphere of influence, we foster a collective commitment to success. Innovation is actively promoted as essential to our sustainability. Above all, our unwavering dedication is to provide our valued customers with a reliable and premium service experience.

What We Offer:

Competitive salary, mobile phone, performance-based bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits package.
Be part of a collaborative and values-driven team that values integrity, respect, and innovation.
A continuous learning opportunity, leadership development, and career progression within a growing organisation.

Your Role

As our Finance Manager, you will lead financial operations across our DX Mail, Dataprint, and Parceline divisions, ensuring the financial health of the organisation through robust planning, analysis, and reporting. Your responsibilities include preparing detailed financial reports for senior management, analysing key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends and improvements, reviewing P&Ls, conducting profitability analyses, and recommending cost-saving initiatives. You will also project the impact of price increases on revenue and support the development and implementation of annual price increase plans, including communication and customer outreach. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal controls while liaising with auditors and overseeing balance sheet reconciliation, cashflow forecasting, and creditor payments.

You will prepare annual budgets and monthly forecasts in collaboration with regional and branch managers, monitor budget performance, provide variance analysis, and develop financial models to support business decisions. Partnering with departments, you’ll deliver financial insights, support strategic projects, facilitate data-driven decisions, and track ROI on capital expenditure to ensure financials align with business cases. This role also involves identifying process improvements, enhancing reporting accuracy, implementing financial controls, and leading finance-related projects and system upgrades to drive operational efficiency.

As a leader, you will manage and mentor the finance team, fostering collaboration and delegating tasks to ensure smooth financial operations. Alongside this, you will actively promote a culture of safety by adhering to company health and safety policies, reporting hazards or incidents, and participating in required training. Your leadership will play a pivotal role in achieving financial excellence and supporting strategic growth across the business.

What we're looking for:

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certification (CA, CPA, CMA) is required.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years in finance or accounting, with a strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Proficiency in financial software, ERP systems, advanced Excel, and forecasting tools (e.g., Power BI).
  • Expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance metrics.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Proven ability to analyse financial data, create financial models, and present complex information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Experience in ROI reporting and managing financials for capital expenditures (capex).
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead, mentor, and develop a finance team to drive high performance.
  • Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and effectively to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Proven track record in analysing ROI from approved capex and driving efficiencies across the business.
  • Ability to adapt to new information and feedback, driving continuous improvement and aligning with business needs.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Personal Attributes:

  • Strong attention to detail with a high level of integrity and ethical behaviour, particularly when handling sensitive financial data.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Experience in adopting and implementing new technologies, including system enhancements and process improvements.
