Job Description

BestStart Pleasant Point – Aroha, A Place to Love

At BestStart Pleasant Point, children not only feel loved but love coming here. Nestled in a charming rural township, our centre provides a warm and welcoming environment where children thrive. With three spacious rooms and large outdoor play areas, there is plenty of space to run, dance, and climb. To laugh, connect, and care. To create, explore, and develop a love for learning.

Pepe at Play – Our Under-2s Nursery

Our nursery, Pepe at Play, reflects our commitment to providing a nurturing and responsive environment where infants feel safe, valued, and encouraged to express themselves. Through play, laughter, and respectful relationships, our dedicated teachers create a space where each child’s voice is heard, their needs are met, and their confidence flourishes.

We embrace our rural setting and treasure the farming knowledge our tamariki bring to their learning. Tractors, trucks, diggers, and farm animals are much-loved resources in our classrooms and playgrounds, and we always enjoy visits from family pets and other animals from home.

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Qualified and Certificated Teacher to join our energetic and close-knit team.

At BestStart, we are committed to being a progressive and adaptable leader in the early childhood education sector. Our teachers are valued for the positive difference they make in children’s lives. We are proud to offer full pay parity.
