The Finance Project Analyst role, is a global position, reporting directly to the Finance Projects and Systems Manager. Working as part of an agile team who supports our global finance teams in delivering key strategic projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
This role requires strong collaboration with our global finance team and cross functionally with Digital. This role will deliver agile analytics capability across projects, systems, processes and reporting.
You be responsible for:
- Building strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business to understand their financial requirements and provide support where required.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities to drive operational excellence and support strategic initiatives
- Downloading, organising, modelling and reporting on complex data and performing root cause analysis.
- Simplify, improve or create standard processes
- Providing advice and guidance to the Finance Projects & Systems Manager in regards to projects complexity and impact to drive prioritisation activity
- Identify and communicate financial risks and opportunities to senior leadership.
- Having a strong sense of customer needs and essentially act as a trusted partner and advisor.

With a strong analytical skillset, project management capability and a bachelors degree in Finance or accounting, you will also meet the following selection criteria:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
- Full ICANZ or similar
- 5 years' experience in a global finance function for a large corporate organisation
- Strong understanding of finance processes, data management, and financial systems integration
- Project Management skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate complex ideas / systems to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Proficiency with SAP S4 Hana, GRC
