Job Description

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Risk and Assurance Lead to join their dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a significant portfolio of transformation and change, providing assurance for key programmes. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in leading assurance activities, ensuring that delivery remains on track and projected benefits are achieved.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead assurance activities for major transformation initiatives.
  • Ensure delivery aligns with programme objectives and projected benefits.
  • Develop and implement a pragmatic, fit-for-purpose assurance approach.
  • Establish and maintain trusted networks within the delivery community.
  • Collaborate closely with the EPMO to ensure alignment and integration of programme management assurance.
  • Conduct quality assurance investigations and ensure data accuracy.
  • Provide oversight for external assurance processes and contribute to reporting and engagement activities.


What You Bring:

  • Extensive experience in project delivery and programme management.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across all organizational levels.
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality presentations and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of business systems in large organizations, supporting informed decision-making.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent industry experience.
  • Relevant assurance and delivery qualifications/certifications.
  • Experience in a senior-level, collaborative leadership environment.
  • Expertise in coaching and mentoring within project and programme assurance.
  • Ability to make sound decisions under pressure and resolve issues effectively.
