We’re looking for a Senior Financial Planning Analyst - Financial Planning & Analysis to join our wider Finance team here in Aotearoa reporting to our Financial Planning and Analysis Finance Manager .Joining our wider Finance team you’ll take accountability for communicating the end-to-end P&L of the business and provide strategic financial insights to guide the business in delivering its plan including providing actionable recommendations to influence profitability and returns. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain a comprehensive view of the business, collaborate with the Leadership Team, understand Executive Team’s strategic business thinking, and contribute to strategic decision-making.
About the Role | Mō te Tūranga
- Report the monthly P&L and assess drivers of performance, facilitate month end close discussions
- Executive reporting including Board, Business Performance meetings, Executive Leadership Team meetings and quarterly external reporting
- Finance Business Partner to the Strategy & Transformation team, helping to achieve strategic objectives in line with financial plans
- Drive the forecast, planning and budgeting process, understand key performance drivers and actions to guide the business
- Sharing and driving ideas to improve both team, function and business and drive business outcomes
About You | Mōu
To succeed in this role you will need to be CA / CPA / CFA qualified with ideally 3+ years of work experience post qualification in a scalable work environment. A natural with numbers and tools, you’ll have an analytical lens with the ability to tell a story from an abundance of data and provide insights to key stakeholders that will influence and drive operational decision making. You’ll bring a strong business partnering approach, able to build strong working relationships and the ability to challenge constructively and encourage authentic conversations to really influence key decisions.
