Proactively manage the commercial relationship with existing Corporate and Government accounts and drive new business opportunities!

ACCOUNT MANAGER - SOUTHERN (Based in Christchurch)

With at least 4 years Corporate Account Management Experience and having Business and Commercial acumen, Industry Vertical and Public Sector knowledge and experience will be useful and is preferred. You will also have a deep understanding of the broader IT & Telecommunications ecosystem and a natural affinity for collaboration, building relationships that are high in trust and influence positive outcomes.

Your exceptional oral, written, organisational and interpersonal skills will be put to the test in this position, and you must have a challenger mindset with the ability to think innovatively and continuously push the boundaries of what is possible!

How you'll show up | Tu mai Tu Rangatira

  • Earn our customers trust by doing what you say you will, learning about our customers businesses and the industries they operate in, tailoring solutions that will solve their business pain points.
  • Manage a medium sized portfolio of existing customers and retain this existing business whilst also growing new revenues from "white space" opportunities.
  • Develop, execute and maintain a sales plan that grows the revenue of the region by retaining existing customers' business and winning new business.
  • Establish credibility and trust with customers to gain access to Executive level contacts, and drive stakeholder engagements between customers and 2degrees Executive where appropriate.
  • Act as an advisor to help guide technology decisions and business cases.
  • Drive commercial negotiations in conjunction with internal and external stakeholders and execute it through team and resources
